-Jewelry

Jewelry is an ages-old way of expressing love, be it a through a plastic ring or a gold necklace. While often expensive, you can find cheap deals if you look for them. For instance, Ring Pops are only a few dollars, but are very romantic because they combine the effects of giving your lover both delicious candy and jewelry. And don’t think that jewelry is only for girls; bling for your boy is a perfect way to express how you feel.

-Stuffed animals

A favorite pastime for lovers is cuddling, but sometimes you won’t be there for her. That’s why a stuffed animal is always a good decision, because a stuffed animal is a lot more reliable than you will ever be. Don’t sweat it if you ditch her on a date, because when she gets home Mr. Teddy will be waiting to cuddle with her, even if you aren’t.

-Walkie talkie

Do you need to constantly stay in contact with that special someone and talk to them at every odd hour of the day? Purchase a walkie talkie for you and her, and you’ll never stop communicating. Most only work within a few hundred feet of each other, so you will need to spend all of your time in close proximity to your lover for the gift to work.

-Tattoo

What better way can you express your love for someone than by scorching their name into your skin? Tattoos are one of the best gifts because they are cheap (bargain jobs are often priced at a mere few dollars), attractive and express commitment. The bigger and more visible the tattoo is, the more you love her, so don’t settle for any small designs. You’ll need parental approval for a tattoo if you’re under 18, however, so get your parent’s signature on paper before you get your lovers signature on your skin.

-Chocolate

While a bit stereotypical, a heart-shaped box of chocolates is always a sure-fire way to a girl’s heart. A gift like this is dangerous, however, and should be used only sparingly because of the weighty unintended consequences of giving your lover too much chocolate. For a healthier but still delicious alternative gift, consider carrots or celery.

-Write a song

Writing a song about that special someone is a sure way to their heart. Be sure to hold a special concert, with acoustic guitar and singing, and your pookie will melt in your arms. If you want to get creative try using different instrumentation; maybe throw in a clarinet solo or some accordion background for added effect.

-Voodoo doll

While a voodoo doll doesn’t have the gusto of outright vandalism, which is illegal, it is an excellent way of expressing to an ex-lover how you feel. You will need some experience in Haitian black magic beforehand, but the materials for the voodoo doll itself should be relatively affordable. Hopefully you saved some locks of his or her hair before you broke up, or you’re going to have to develop some creative collection methods.

-Money

Forgot to go Valentines Day shopping for that special someone? No problem! The local ATM just around the corner can provide for all of your shopping needs. Giving your special someone cold cash as a Valentine’s gift may not be as romantic as other potential gifts, but it gets straight to the point and provides your lover with what he or she really wants.
