Girl’sJunior Varsity Basketball

By:  Kelly M.

TheLady Generals had a terrific season with each player improving everyday.   They ended their season with a3-7 record.  Coach Crum wasextremely proud of the team.  They worked hard every practice and played each game like it was life ordeath.  According to Ms Crum,“These girls made my job not only easy, but fun.  I looked forward to practice everyday.  It was so nice to work with a group ofgirls who were willing to give 100% each day.  I look forward to seeing them grow for next year.”

Whilethe entire team did an outstanding job this year, one player stood out abovethe rest.  Katie C. not only was awonderful motivator to the other players, she also was a key scorer for thelady generals.  She averaged animpressive 11 points per game.

Perhapsthe best moment of the season was the final game.  The Lady Generals had to face Lisle.   Lisle is known for having astrong team and an impressive record. After only winning two games, the team still went out to play with theirheads held high and focused on playing their best.  With their hard work and determination they were able tobeat Lisle.

TheLady Generals represented Eisenhower and should be really proud of theirseason.
