There are three detours to get to class because of the new renovations. There will now be new detours to the library.

The renovations that are about to take place will help the students and staff have a better look at what goes on in the school library. The librarian hopes that it changes the outcome on who has come to the library and who do not.

"I hope that the new library will make the students feel fresh," said Librarian Sarah Abreu.

The new library will be receiving new books, furniture, and bookcases. The library will also be expanding the walls to have more room for all the new things that are coming.



"I hope students will visit the library at first to see how it looks," said Abreu. "But to also see the new furniture that is more comfortable."



The renovations to the library will change how people feel on coming to the library.



"I would definitely go to the library more often once the renovations are over," said Freshman Michael Johnson.



Having the library remodeled will help the students and staff here at SLz because it's having more room and way more books that interest you.



"Looking towards the new library there should be a lot more students and staff members coming to the library," said Abreu.

Often students only go to the library when teachers take them, but now by themselves.



"I would go to the library when I'm by myself even if my friends think it's boring," said Sophomore Andre Turner. "I don't always have to go with my teachers."

The library renovations should help the students and staff feel that it's more comfortable and make the students feel that it is a very safe place to be.
