Drama and Music Departments' Up-Coming Schedule

The year is almost over...it's hard to believe! We are already welcoming incoming 6^th Grade Students for next year as the 2008-2009 school year ends. 5^th Graders just came for a tour of the school and we had our band concert.

Dunning and Hemenway visited and played their songs. It was a great concert. Great jobs 5^th Graders, Mr. Mangan, you taught them well and ditto to you, Mr. Dassoni. They were all new songs we have never heard before, that was a nice surprise.

If you want to check out the Walsh Wildcat Jazz Band and the Walsh Concert Band you can come to our concerts.
The Jazz Band Concert is on May 27 at 7 pm and ...

the Walsh Concert Band is on June 3 at 7:00. See you there!

And, kudos on the play, I really liked it! (even though I was in it!) I've realized that we have some VERY TALENTED students here at Walsh Middle School!

UP-DATE - The Walsh cast took a GOLD with their production of The Seussification of Romeo and Juliet at the Drama Festival held at Walsh on Saturday, May 9th! CONGRATULATIONS!

**Don't forget the Orchestra Concert is on June 4th @Cameron. Performances are at 10am & 7pm. The Orchestra Outing is June 16th from 8:15am-3:20PM. Be sure to arrange a ride to and from Cameron that day! (from Ms. Dupuis)

** The Walsh Brook Street Singers will be presenting their Spring Concert Wednesday, May 20 at 7:00pm. All are invited!
