Yes, already there are rumors that surfaced over the Internet, some from valid sources who have proved to be correct in the past. The Wall Street Journal announced that the iPad 3 would be released in Fall 2011, and would probably feature a retina-like display. The iPad 2 will most likely include a front facing camera, faster processer, be thinner, and lighter in weight. The second generation iPad, I expect will come late March or early April.

As far as the iPhone 5, there is talk of it being upgraded to a 4 inch screen, a better camera with megapixels in the range of 8 to 12, improved battery life, dual-chip fast processer, and maybe, just maybe there will be multiple versions of the iPhone 5. Possibly, there could be a cheaper, smaller budget sized phone, dubbed the iPhone nano if it goes into production. This would probably release at the end of June 2011, the typical launch time.

Another thing to think about would be, when will the long-awaited iPhone 4 in White come out? Will it ever?

And, the Verizon iPhone just came out on 02/10/2011 officially, and I will admit, I was one of the buyers to switch over to Verizon on the launch date, and just got mine yesterday. I have no dropped calls to report as of now, and great reception! This might affect the number of early adopters or customers to buy the iPhone 5 since many may have just started a new two-year contract with an iPhone 4 on Verizon. But, I hope that there will be major upgrades to the phone, both internally mainly and a few externally. The iPhone 4 was mostly external upgrades, but internally with more features would be nice to see, and could entice more to upgrade.
