Why should students vote for you?
Students should vote for our ticket because we have a lot of great ideas for the dance such as (hopefully) giving the freshmen and sophomores some recognition (like a sash or court jester or SOMETHING small so they can be apart of the court too) after the king/queen prince/princess winners considering that they ARE apart of the dance too. Creating more clubs to help out the less fortunate, make more outings for regions that may not have as many. And Get more clubs for games and music for just about anything you can think of. To encourage students to try their hardest. Create study techniques that could be fun for students to do to make them WANT to do better. That’s why our slogan is Working Hard, Hardly Working, This Ticket’s Got You Smirking. Because to us this wouldn’t be work it would be doing something to benefit other people. Just like Emily, Makkah and Noelle do in Peer Mentor Club J
What do you hope to add in the student council?
We hope to add a lot more encouragement to student council, and add a lot more entertainment to the school (possibly a teacher talent show at the end of the year? ;)) And Make the spring dance the best we possibly can. We know it’s a big job so we’re going to have the whole student council be involved in our decisions and make them feel included.
What are your future political aspirations?
Well, since we have 2 people graduating on our ticket (Makkah and Emily) we aren’t entirely sure what we want to do next year or the year after since both Noelle and Jessica are sophomores, but, we can assure you’ll see them participating in student council at some point. Maybe even becoming president, or vice president of the United States! For now though, it’s just a matter of time. Please vote for Our Ticket! Makkah Beasley – Pres. Noelle Metz – VP Emily Powell – Secretary and Jessica McKeehan - Treasurer
