With less than thirty days left of the 2008-2009 school year, students are getting excited about their summer vacation plans.  While some people have no idea what they want to do during the summer, most have a general idea of what they want to do.  Still only a few students know exactly what they plan on doing over the summer.  Either way, summer is approaching fast and before we know it, t will be here ready to be enjoyed.
            Robin Barton is one of the few students who know exactly what she wants to do over summer.  "I'm going to a concert with Lauren," was one of the first things of her long list.  She also intends on going camping with friends as a senior trip.  She did not forget her family; Robin will be spending some of her summer in Connecticut visiting family.  She would also like to fit in a trip to the beach some time.  Along with her pleasures and relaxation, Robin is also thinking about tomorrow.  Over the summer she will be getting ready for college and attending orientation at Mount Aloysius College.  Robin is ready and waiting for summer.

            For those who do not know what to do with their summer, there is still some time to decide.  Local festivals take place throughout the summer.  Amusement parks and the zoo are open everyday in the summer.  Local parks such as Cedar Creek and Palmer Park have trails for relaxing walks.  The possibilities are endless; the only chore is to decide which best fits your mood.  So get ready because here comes another long summer break!
