Lacey Kazior has been running cross country for three years. Ever since the first run she has been in love with the concept. Kazior runs every day, because it is not only a sport to her, it is her addiction. She has worked hard to get where she is now and continues to work at it every day. When asked about finishing second to teammate Jackie Barner she responded laughing. All though she has never beat Jackie, her best time stands strong at 23:01 for three miles. Kazior’s goal this year is to go to states. She also would love to exceed in track. Lacey is undecided when it comes to running in college, however, she hopes to attend the University of Pittsburgh and become a lawyer. When I asked lacey what her favorite part of running is she simply left me with “winning”.
