Friday Night at half time a world wind of color came in with the band everyone was astounded. "Who are those girls?"  they were saying.   They are the Ringgold High School Color Guard, and they work hard to give us the best show possible.

There are fifteen people on the team including two extraordinary captains, Alexa Forlini and Leanne Fries. They put in hard work and dedication to make everyone look the best they can. Ringgold High School's Color Guard has a purpose which is to add color and style to the band. People underestimate color guard but they shouldn't color guard makes band enjoyable especially Ringgold High school's Color guard. We took it in our hands to interview one of the captains and we figured out so much thanks to Leanne Fries. The first question we asked her was 'How do you like everyone?' she simply replied, “Everyone for the most part is nice.”  She has been doing Color Guard for four years so we proceeded to ask her more questions. "How are the freshman are doing this year?". "Good" she replied. "They get lost sometimes which is natural.  It takes time". We then asked her about their uniforms and she definitely got our attention. Then she said, “They have class A which is their fancy uniforms and a class B which is for pep rallies and things like that.”  We were so intrigued we could not stop asking questions. They use flags and riffles to do routines but flags are easier according to Leanne Fries.  She also wants the freshman in the future to know that they should practice as much as possible and if they do not understand something to ask. This will be her last year at Ringgold High school.  She is going to miss color guard and all of the younger girls and all the girls she has gotten to know in general. We had a pleasure interviewing Leanne,   She seems like a lovely bright girl and we wish her the best of luck after she graduates

The Newspaper staff would like to thank her for her interview. If football isn't your sport then come out for the color guard. They are breathtaking. the next time you see that whirlwind of color on the field at half time, clap your hands and stomp your feet because the Color Guard is ready to take the field.
