Teens from Jeff West and all over Jefferson County got together Sunday, Oct. 25 to have a great time while listening to Christian rock music.
Pillar, KJ-52 and Seventh Time Down performed at Jefferson Assembly of God at 7 p.m. for the last night of their Confessions Tour.
“I’ve known [Pillar] for a long times, [so] it’s just like friends getting together,” said KJ-52.
Teens who attended all said that they had a great time. Words like “exhilarating,” “awesome,” “fantastic” and “ridiculously amazing” were used to describe their experience.
“It’s always good to give different music a try,” said sophomore Connor Delfelder. “Once I heard their music, I liked it a lot.”
The Confessions Tour is about “being transparent with others,” according to Rob Beckley, lead singer of Pillar. The inspiration for this tour comes from James 5:16- “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”
“I liked Pillar,” said sophomore Megan Yarger. “They were the best.”
Junior Brayden Moore enjoyed hanging out with the bands during the set-up before the concert. He said it was “a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
“It was so much fun,” said junior Lysette Anderson. “I had a blast.”
