The North County Raiders baseball is currently 2-1 with their only lose coming to the Desoto Dragons. Though, the Raiders had an impressive win over the state ranked Sullivan Eagles and a dominating performance over Central. The team will now travel to Paducah, Kentucky to play some stiff competition.
The Raiders will be leaving early on Friday morning and hoping to reach Paducah by 2:00 p.m. Last year’s, trip to Kentucky was a complete success considering NC commanded the whole tourney. Even though, the tourney requires teams to use wooden bats this did not phase the Raiders. They went 4-0 and finished with the best record in the tournament.
North County will have their first two games at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m. Friday. If everything goes well the team will come back with a 6-1 record and will all kinds of momentum for the conference season. Good luck Raiders!
