The Michael Jackson movie “This is it” is rated the number 1 movie at the box office. The movie alone made $101 million dollars world wide. This movie is about his last performance. The beginning of the movie shows interviews of dancers who auditioned and made it to where they would dance on stage with Michael in his last show. Some of them were even crying because Michael picked them. They all said Michael had always been their inspiration since they were little.

As they were practicing the dances and singing, occasionally he would stop and tell some people what they were doing wrong. In the movie he said he wanted his audience to hear what they heard on the c.d. He knew every dance step, every sound and the tempo of the singers. He basically knew what he wanted the audience to hear and he made sure they got it right.

Michael also practiced some of the songs alone while the dancers sat off stage and watched. Everyone watching Michael cheered him on. Some were just blown away at the fact that they were just sitting there watching him practice and that they got to perform with him. It was a great opportunity for them and they learned a lot.

It was sad just watching him perform knowing he passed away. Some people cried including me. The movie changed my opinion on him and it made me see him as more of man than someone who looks scary. It was very insightful, funny and heartbreaking. I recommend this movie to anyone.
