The Bowling team competed against Hayden and Seaman in their first meet on Jan. 9. The team came away from the meet with some key wins. The women placed 3rd and the men placed 1st. The boys’ varsity team bowled a combined 2167. The boys’ junior varsity bowled a combined 1501. The girls’ varsity team bowled a combined 1675. The girls’ junior varsity bowled a combined 914. Gaby Stolze bowled the highest in the girls’ varsity division with 489. In the girls’ junior varsity, Mariah Baker bowled the highest with 323. In the boys’ varsity division, Conor Burns bowled the highest with 623. In the boys’ junior varsity division, Jacob Okruhlik bowled the highest with 375.
On Jan. 12 the teams traveled to Lawrence to compete in the Lawrence Free State Invitational. The total for the girls’ was 2285 which is 6th place. The total for the boys’ was 2819 which is 4th place.
