The Boys Varsity Basketball Team played a scrimmage against Chelsea High School on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 17 Lexington Ave. A scrimmage in this context means a regular basketball game that isn't significant in ranking the team, but is significant as practice.

In the first quarter, the teams were tied with a score of 10. The key thing that got the crowd screaming was a steal from Richie Alveraz with a pass to Jayson Estrera, who laid it up nicely.

During the second quarter, the score was 4 to 10, with Chelsea taking the lead. However, the crowd roared when Peter and James Davis, respectively, stole the ball from the other team.

In the beginning of the third quarter, the boys were not allowed to dribble. Although they struggled a little with this restraint, they were winning 8 to 4. Christopher Nichols had a total of 5 rebounds in this quarter.

In the 4th quarter, the opponents were winning 2 to 9. On the other hand, a highlight in this quarter was when Alvarez threw the ball back in when Tony Lau missed his lay up. However, Lau had an impressive dive as he dove for the ball to save it.

Lastly, in the 5th quarter the score was close, 5 to 6, Chelsea leading. The crowd cheered loudly when Pawel Wronowski made a 3 point shot from the side. The overall score was 29 to 39, with Chelsea High School taking the league.

Although our boys didn't win and this game was just a scrimmage, there was a lot of school spirit and support from the students of Baruch College Campus High School.
