The 21st century in America is considered the "Information Revolution" because of the technological advances and worldwide use of the internet. The internet has become an important aspect of everyone's life.



There are countless advantages to the internet. It is fast, easy, and convenient. People can work online, have access to research information, students can complete schoolwork, e-mail, and chat with friends all over the world. The Internet revolutionizes people's lifestyles.

"The internet is very helpful for high school students, due to all the research we have to do. It's also great for recreational purposes, and also helpful in terms of communication," said sophomore, Angie Godoy.

According to a 2003 survey by Grunwald Associates, more than 2 million American children between the ages 6 and 17 have their own personal websites, and the number is increasing throughout the years.



Teenagers and people of other age groups also consider the internet a significant part of their daily lives.

"The internet is constantly improving. It's fast and convenient, right at your fingertips," said junior, Frankie Feng.

Although the internet has not been around for a very long period, it certainly plays a crucial role in American society and todays world.
