MR. RICK ADAMS-
Adams is the new government teacher. He previously taught at Kenston High School, where the school has “a better technology advantage” though the students are very similar [to River]. He earned his B.A. at Baldwin Wallace, and was attracted to River due to the football program. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children and doing yard work.
MS.KALI DYE-
Dye is the new math and science teacher for the school district. She went to Baldwin Wallace College and received her BS in Education. During her free time she enjoys swimming, reading, watching “Lost,” and a little bit of shopping.
MRS.MARIBETH GRETTA-
Gretta is the new attendance secretary. Before coming to RRHS, she worked in the office at Real Living Reality One in Rocky River for six years. She is married with three sons; two are in college and Nick is a sophomore at RRHS. She also has an Australian Shepard dog named Rocky.
MS.MARISSA LEONINO-
Leonino is the new River’s Edge Show Choir and Concert Choir teacher. She previously taught for Akron Public Schools and District of Columbia Public Schools. She earned her Master of Music at the Unviersity of Akron. In her free time she enjoys designing clothing, cooking and learning languages.
MS.RENEE REDAELLI-
Redaelli is a library assistant in the media center. Previously a second grade teacher at St. Brendan School, Redaelli has enjoyed the change and working with older students. She earned a B.A. in education at Wittenberg University. In her free time she enjoys reading, live music and dancing.
MR. MICHAEL SISLOWSKI-
Sislowski is one of the new English teachers here at RRHS. He previously worked in the North Ridgeville City School District. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Cleveland State University. He enjoys playing and watching sports of all kinds and considers himself an avid Notre Dame fan.
MS. JENNINE STURSA-
Stursa joins the English Department as Mrs. Voight’s substitute teacher. This is her first official year of teaching. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in English Lit. from John Carroll University. She’s the oldest of seven in her family. In her leisure time, she enjoys reading as well as playing tennis.
MRS. CHRYSTAL TATE-
Tate is the new French teacher. Since 2003 she has worked at Orrville City Schools, which “is very similar to River.” She earned her Master’s in French, and her BA in education and BS in French. She is advising student council, French club and the diving team. In her free time she enjoys movies and trying new restaurants.
ALICIA SCHEIBNER-
Scheibner is an exchange student from Frankfurt, Germany. It has always been a dream for her to go to America after seeing it in many movies. She plays JV Volleyball for River. She is staying with the Arancibia family.
BLANCA TORRES-
Torres is an exchange student from Madrid, Spain. She was excited to see “yellow buses, cheerleaders and music bands.” She enjoys music, shopping and drawing. She is staying with the Hamilton family.
