Freshman, sophomores, juniors, seniors, football players, and fans can sum up some of the things at fifth quarter, a hot spot after every home football game.
When it comes to food, fifth quarter is the place to be. Whether it’s at Elmwood Park, or hosted in someone’s backyard, the food can be anything from drinks and appetizers to dinner and dessert.
“Food is always the best part; there is massive amounts of food; all of the food is really good,” junior Tim McLaughlin said.
When compared to team dinners, fifth quarter comes out on top. The team dinners can’t beat the crazy fun, games, and hanging out with all your friends plus a little more. Fifth quarter has to be big because on average 150 people usually attend.
“Everybody who goes to the game usually goes to fifth quarter”, Senior Zehr Kaull said. All the football players would agree that fifth quarter is better when they win a football game, but when they lose it doesn’t stop players and people from going to fifth quarter and having a good time.
The usual crowd at fifth quarter consists of football players, super fans, parents, and other students.
Fifth quarter is held at a different spot every time. Students hear about where fifth quarter is through the grapevine. The parties usually go until midnight or later.
If a student wants to have a good time, have some great food, and hang out with your friends, then fifth quarter parties are for you.
