At-a-glance

Over the course of the typical four years spent at Arrowhead High School, the time for reflection assaults seniors within the last few months before graduation.  Suddenly, students look at a favorite class with their teacher and classmates in a new light, as if to commit to memory the life lessons learned and hilarious banter.  The daily lunch table assumes a melancholy hue as friends laugh under the shadow of an approaching departure.

Poised in the glistening futures of soon-to-be 2010 Arrowhead alumnae are the memories.  Whether you will never forget the time you stepped onto the basketball court to play your first game as a Warhawk, or the moment you joined a club like Student Senate, these memories exist as supernovas to our high school years.  They shined as stars and will then burst into a blazing light for everyone to see before they fade into the filing cabinets of our brains.

In a world of fairness, each senior would be able to cite a specific time at Arrowhead that he will never forget.  That said, these are a handful of quotes from seniors that illustrate a memory.

“Senior study hall has been awesome, and I will always remember the friends I made from here,” Jamie Thiel.

“I will remember for eternity prom table 66.  It was cursed!  The magician cracked a cell phone screen, two people got sick, a girl slipped on a lettuce leaf, and a lava cake flew and shattered a water glass,” Melissa Champeau.

“The boys’ state basketball game was a great time,” Paige Bostrom.

“I will forever remember when, on my birthday, a girl wiped out in senior study hall,” Liz Hanson.
