Uncertainty, apprehension, or more specifically trepidation; those are the few out of many feelings that spring upon me while thinking about the current economic crisis.
This is affecting not only my own life, but definitely the lives of others. With the numbers of people being unemployed each and every single day flying through the roof, along with the number of businesses going out of business left and right, I am worried about what may be in store for my future.
Will I be able to become what I want to be in life, or if not, at least get a descent job without the doubt of being ‘let off’ because they can’t afford to give me pay? Will I be able to make a living? Go to college? Be able to say that I am someone who did succeed in life?
I bet everyone my age, as well as people from all age groups who are still living here in the United States today, worries what about is in store for our future because if they don’t, they either must be oblivious to everything that is happening, or they are just careless. No offense to those people though, I was just trying to make a point that this is economic crisis is not something to just look past, it is something with a lot of importance.
I know I want to turn our future around and lead it on a better path without all this constant fear, but to get through this economic crisis, all of us, not just me, will definitely have to strive to do so; it won’t just happen over night.
With these new endeavors for change, who knows, maybe our future will come around on a brighter note and we won’t have to worry about whether or not we will be able to get a job to support ourselves, and later on even maybe our families too; as long as we never give up hope and really work for this, I know that we can pull ourselves out of this slump we’ve fell deep within.
