UIL Regional Winners Go To San Antonio
UIL Regional Qualifiers -- Cristina Pulido, Cassandra Gonzalez, Cindy Jaimez, - Staff

The UIL Journalism team won first place at the District 31 meet March 26.
Overall, three BETA students qualified to compete at the UIL Region IV contest April 24 at the University of Texas San Antonio.
Junior Cristina Pulido placed second in News Writing, third in Editorial Writing, and sixth in both Feature Writing and Headline Writing.
Sophomore Cindy Jaimez placed first in Feature Writing, second in Editorial Writing and third in News Writing. The team is coached by Ms. Dina Wilson.
In Accounting, junior Cassandra Gonzalez placed third. She is coached by Ms. Tara Pratt.
