Why does this contest seem to get more difficult as the years go on? This month’s winner hada narrow victory with mere votes to spare, The Beauty of the Month goes to Senior Logan Lake and his 2002 Buick Rendezvous. The Rendezvous, which Lake affectionately calls "The Tank", was a gift to him and his sister from their parents. And most people are satisfied when they just get a pair of thermal socks for Christmas. "Nothing can stop The Tank." Said Lake. With all the climate changes and sudden blizzards in our beloved state, one would think there would be difficulties driving on any of the fine streets, but apparently there is an exception to every rule. "I was driving on Velte with Bobby Spitzly and we hit some ice and slid off the road." Said Lake with a slightly blushing face "But we managed to peal out without damaging The Tank." Lake followed one ofthe simplest, yet most effective rules of Michigan driving, "There may come a time to vandalize in order to stay alive." So if you ever find yourself in a snowbound predicament, remember the recently added rule,"When you are stuck in the snow bank, just holler for The Tank."
