The selection for the Beater of the Month has come to an end, after a bone-chilling venture to the parking lot. This month’s lucky winner is Senior Shalea Makly and her 1993 Beretta.
Whoa to previous, current, and possibly the future owner of this car, for Makly’s Beretta is a sight that would make the eyes sore. One of few things that can save it from being reduced to nothing more than another form of classy lawn ornaments was the price that was paid for the purchase of it, a grand total of $300.
Other than that, what is there left to do than to take it out back and have it done away with like Old Yeller? The amount of hazards that the car produces would make anyone want to have removed from the road. When the windows become too blurred to see out of, the windshield washer fluid line does not work. When the fuel runs out,it can either be blames on the car’s poor miles per gallon or the fact that the hatch that covers the gas cap is missing.
With all the problems of Makly’s Beretta, there is one silver lining that would make even Fred Flintstone happy to drive it. “It can destroy opossums with ease.” Said Makly “Though it makes me upset.”
So beware of the Berretta for it may not be able to make it out of the parking lot some day and there will most likely be Shalea Makly there with a look of distress and a need for some help.
