“Alvin and the Chipmunks” is now on the big screen. There has been a debate on whether or not it was good. There really should not be a debate. The movie was just as great as the cartoon.

The show begins with Alvin, Simon and Theodore in their home in an old tree.

While in their tree, they’re storing food for the winter. To make a long story short, they get taken home with a man named Dave. He lives by himself, so at first Dave wants them to leave since all they do is destroy the house and eat.

So he tells them that they have to sleep outside for the night. That night Dave is at the keyboard trying to write a song.

The next day he makes a discovery that Alvin, Simon and Theodore can sing.

Afterward the chipmunks meet one of the guys that Dave works with. He really did not believe Dave at first that they could sing, since they would not sing in front of him. When Dave gets them home he records them on tape and takes it back into the office.

Once the world hears their music, they decide they like the sound. After a few days, Dave gets mad. He thinks they should not be working so much.

The chipmunks have a show every night, and then they figure out that Dave is right. They need to slow down and get some more rest. The boys figure out that without rest life gets tiring really fast. After some time passes, they begin to miss their life with Dave.

This is the basic story of Alvin and the chipmunks. If you liked the cartoon, there will be no debate. You will definitely like the movie.
