Who would have thought Friday morning would have turned into a tragedy for Jennifer Hudson.

Jennifer Hudson is an Oscar winner and a singer/actress.

Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, where found murdered in Donerson’s home.

Donerson’s home is located in Chicago.

Julian King, Hudson’s nephew, was missing since Friday when the bodies of his grandmother and uncle where found.

Julian King was found Monday morning shot in a white SUV.



One suspect is William Balfour who is the estranged husband of Julia Hudson, Jennifer Hudson sister.

Balfour was captured Friday night and now is in police custody.

The police are also saying murderer may have had help.

“(It’s a) Big tragedy, he was wrong for killing those people, should have left them alone,” said Joshua Haynes, a South Side student.

“I think he is making the society worse. There is no use in black on black crime,” said Tiffany Martin, a South Side student.

“It’s a wake up call to show us how precious family members are, that we sometimes take for granted,” said Wilma Williams, a South Side teacher.

This tragedy has saddened Jennifer Hudson fans.
