“Sideline Anxiety”
The South Side football team line up watching the game while waiting to see the next play at last Friday nights game. It was South Sides first game of the year. “I was nervous at the beginning of the game, but I got calmer as the game went on,” said Trent Wilson.

South Side’s Color Guard team wave’s flags to support the South Side hawks on last Friday nights game. “I feel like we did very well,” said Amber Gladney, a Color Guard member. This was the Color Guards first performance of the year.

Dyer County and South Side boys line up on the field waiting to make the next play at the nerve racking game last Friday night. The teams were lined up as Dyer kicked off for a field goal. “I was really upset and nervous, but I tried as hard as I could to block to kick,” said Trent Wilson.

The South Side band performs at half time during the game last Friday night. Hearing the band made fans more excited about cheering for the Hawks. “The band kept us pumped and excited.” said Austin Webb.

Students from Dyer and South Side pile up trying to get the ball during the game last Friday. South Side was down 14-0 when Dyer pushed closer to the field goal. “The offensive line got destroyed,” said Trent Wilson, a football player for South Side.
