The Chelsea High School Red Devils football team has high expectations this year, and one of them is to win the Super Bowl. We have a solid core of returning starters that are proving themselves ready for a big year for the program. Our goal is to capture the division and go on to win the Division 4 Super Bowl title.

We worked hard in the off-season and worked hard during practices this year because we know that hard work and team camaraderie will make us winners. The difference of this year’s team from last years team is that we are not cruising along during games – we are giving it our all and leaving our blood, sweat and tears on the field.

We have gotten a hot start with a 6 and 0 record winning big games against Greater Lowell, Brighton and this week Minuteman. Our biggest game yet was the game vs. Shawsheen Tech. We fought a battle and showed what we can do to upper division teams.

We our looking forward to keeping our grades up to keep our team together and bring a Super Bowl back to Chelsea. Coach Stellato made that clear to us during a study hall session. “We have a special team here,” said Coach, “we just need to keep up with our academics. I have been on special teams before and we went far and took it all so keep it up.”
