Now on DVD and Bluray The Proposal is a comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. "The Proposal" hit the theaters and IMAX  on June 12 and was a huge hit. It was directed by Anne Fletcher who has also directed hits such as "27 Dresses" and "Step Up."
   
    Here's a bit about the movie.
    Andrew Paxton(Ryan Reynolds) had been working as an assistant for the strict New York book publisher Margret Tate (Sandra Bullock) for the past three years.
    
    All is well  for Margaret until she is told that her visa has been denied and she is being deported back to her home country of Canada. When she discovers this she quickly comes up with a plan to stay in the country, but to pull it off she has to marry her assistant and visit Alaska. Having lost her family as a teenager, the movie sets into a funny and shocking plot as the city girl Margaret Tate is forced to go to small town Alaska and experience once again what it is like to have a family.
