On November 16th we are holding a Red Cross Blood drive in the small gym. They will be here from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sixteen year olds need parental consent forms but everyone 17 and older do not. Be sure to look at the weight and height requirements this year.

November 20th there will be a Respect Assembly and the 80's dance. Mrs. Davis will talk about respect for our school and others, the peer mentors will be introduced, and an ASB produced video on respect will be shown.

The 80's dance will be held in the library from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. This is a fund raiser for Kyle Lawrence; A Bandon High School student who was hit by a car coming home from cross country practice early in the year. He is still in the hospital, where he is making slow progress. We have invited Bandon High School to attend the dance; all proceeds made will go to Kyle Lawrence and his family to help with medical expenses.

Currently, we are accepting applications for Junior Coordinators and Senior Contestants for Mr. RHS. On January 28, 2010, a Sno-Ball dance will be held in the high school cafeteria from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. This is going to be a kick-off fund raiser for Mr. RHS to provide funds to produce the pageant. The Sno-Ball dance is going to be a fun, semi-formal dance with no court. Recycled dresses and ties are strongly encouraged, and extra expenses such as formal dinners, flowers, and professionally styled hairdos will be discouraged. Since we have received many requests for another formal or semi-formal dance, we are trying it out. We hope it will be a fun but relaxed opportunity for people to dress up and have a good time.
