A Clean Room is a Healthy Room
Advertising
Most teens can really vouch that they have a messy room.  Maybe that’s a large generalization but if I went around and took a survey in our school I think that 90% of the students would say their room is currently a mess. Personally, I am usually forced to clean my room multiple times a week. This is because my mom will force me to clean it then within a few hours at most, it look once again like a tornado has rolled across the carpet. I think that it is AMERICA and one should be FREE to be a SLOB. Of course I say 'it’s my room!' and my parents say 'well it’s my house!' Typical. I think that unless it infringes on their health, my room should be none of their concern. They say you can’t even walk in there because of the clothes thrown about the room, but it doesn't pose any health violations. I can walk in there fine; parents do not need to! If my room gets to the point where I cannot stand it I will take care of it myself. Come on, I'm preparing myself for if I have a messy roommate in college. I will be used to the jumping over piles of clothes and such. So I’m off to clean my room instead of doing homework. Think of all of the time saved if I did not have to clean my room those several times a week. One would save a great amount of time just by eliminating cleaning out of their agenda. (As long as they know where everything is!)
