In a small community, a small town and small school sports is a big part of our fall season. This years team has proven to have bettered itself by reinforcing the defense. Not only has the team been doing better, but they feel stronger. It's a powerful feeling, when you finally beat the board. Prineville's community is big on sports and football is one of the overall favorites.

The team is more of a family and they understand that as a whole, in order to succeed, you have to be open and real. Your team is a group, and you all have to be a part of it.

"It doesn't get in the way of school because I want to be there", says one sophomore. If you are in a sport your grades must be acceptable, it's a little encouragment. It's a horrid feeling when your team gets to go play but you are left behind. It's sucks and you feel like you are letting your coaches and your friends down. "It's an unltimate feeling of low", explains a junior.

Football in Crook County is a poetic balance of our little world.
