Dance team takes lots of strength, time and effort. I asked incoming freshman Kaitlyn Blank how dance team was rolling this year. Kaitlyn said, “My favorite part would be learning the new dances and styles of dance.” She told me it’s very challenging and they all must work hard. “We all give our full out best 100% of the time.” says Kaitlyn. What I learned from interviewing her, was they practice hard and do lots of fundraising which include: bottle drives, wood cutting, car washes, and selling pies, bread and candles. Last year our competition team won state and they worked very hard for that title. Each girl on dance team is very dedicated to what they love and want. They work hard in practices and love performing. Kaitlyn tells me it is very rewarding and they all work very hard. Dance team is a struggle and sometimes you just want to quit, but they all keep going strong. They perform a lot of community events and lots of people enjoy watching them dance to fun music. They all have high expectations for this year.
