On September 14, The Boys’ soccer team defeated North County 3-2 to improve to 2-0 on the season. The team played very well together and in the end came out on top. Goals were scored by Jose Moran, Dillion Paice and Parker Mcardle.
“It was ridic. It was uber sweet when Jose pwned all of the defenders and scored a kick-butt goal,” said junior defender Jacob Koenig.
The team played very well together and communicated on the field.
The following evening they Comets suffered a tough loss to the Hereford Bulls.
“Hereford was definitely a better team,” said sophomore Parker Mcardle.
Even though the Comets didn’t win, the game will help them to prepare for tougher teams.
“We gotta improve for teams like Perry Hall and Dulaney,” commented Mcardle.
The team plays again September 17 against Owings Mills.
