The Comet football team continued its hot start with a 14-0 victory over county rival Milford Mill last Saturday. This win avenged a blowout loss suffered at the hands of the Millers last season. Catonsville jumped out to an early lead on the strength of Brian Smith’s rushing touchdown and quarterback Dwight Weingarten’s aerial connection with wide out Damien Simpson. The defense’s shut out performance was highlighted by linebacker David Wolfe’s 2 interception afternoon. The win puts the Comets at 2-0 heading into Thursday’s home matchup with Franklin, another team that defeated the Comets last season.
