You are in control, from plowing, planting, and harvesting the crops to planting and harvesting trees. Farmville is also full of different kinds of animals that you can purchase or adopt to take care of and collect hair, feathers, or milk from.


There are many people all over the world that play Farmville and it is still increasing in popularity. Senior, Brad O’Brien, is a huge fan of Farmville.


“I am master of Farmville because the game said I was and I am on level 33,” he explained meaning he is one of the best players in the game.


O’Brien has the biggest farm in the game, known as the “Family Plantation.” He always plants cabbage because it is one of the crops with the most profit. But he has his choice of 32 other crops ranging from different types of vegetables, fruits, and flowers. He harvests his crops everyday for about thirty minutes a day. He has developed a system that he follows, so he can harvest, plow, and plant his crops in the most efficient way possible.


Brad is also concerned with the way his farm looks. He wants to be working in a nice looking environment. He has bought a couple of barns, a windmill, hot air balloons, and a cabin. These are expensive decorations that only master farmers can obtain. There is a selection from about seventy or eighty different decorations. There are many different buildings and yard decorations that help the farm look better.


Another farmer that is very enthusiastic about the game is Brendan Healy, a junior at CHS. He has been playing the game for a couple months now and is at level 24. He will be a Farmville master soon enough. He only plays every other day, but for an hour and a half each time. He makes a lot of money and is determined to be a master farmer,


“I want to be the best,” Brendan said.


Healy loves to plant watermelons because he finds them to be one of the best crops. This farmer loves the different types of trees because he does not have to replant them after each harvest.


The decorations and buildings are something that Healy loves to collect and show off. He has a large red barn and many small houses and sheds. Healy loves Farmville. “This is the best, most addicting game on the internet that I will play for the rest of my life…at least until I am the number one farmer,” he said.
