You can hear the animals around you. The lions roar, theelephants trumpet, and you are there in the midst of it all. The Roar &Snore is a safe, yet extraordinary experience.

The Wild Animal Parkin San Diego California offers many different experiencesfor the young and the old. You can see the incredible, out of the ordinaryanimals from all over the world, feed some of them, and even sleep over at thepark. That’s right, sleep over! This AnimalPark offers what manyother zoos do not, a chance to see the animals from a differentperspective.  You are able to pay for a night in the “African savanna”!You sleep in tents that over looks a vast amount of land. Not just landthough, beautiful grassland. Giraffes, rhinoceroses, gazelle… are all grazingright on your doorstep.

“It was a fun and absolutely amazing experience! Everyone shoulddo it because it is so much fun, and it is so cool!” said Joselin.

The Roar & Snore consists of constant activities. You arriveat the camp site at around five. Then when everyone has assembled you eatdinner while watching the many animals right next to you. Then there are a lotof exclusively scheduled activities for all of the campers. You get to go on a privatetour of the park. You see the things the everyday camper doesn’t get to see. Thenyou get a chance to have incredible, close-up photo opportunities.

The next activity is African drumming. You sit around a roaringfire, a drum in your lap, smores in your stomach, and you learn the basics ofAfrican drumming. You play songs, sing, and you enjoy the night with theanimals!

Throughout the night you can hear the deep roar of the lions. You wake up, at first not knowing what it is. Then you know. The loins roar islike nothing you have ever heard. It’s not like hearing a lion on television. It’s different; you are there, having the exhilarating experience of hearing areal lion!

In the morning you get another exclusive tour. You get to seeall the animals being fed! You go a safe distance away, but a lot closer thanany one else. You see the cheetahs, the lions, all the animals being feed! Notyour everyday experience if I do say so myself.

The whole Roar & Snore is, overall, one of the mostinteresting and exciting experiences any normal American could have!

“It was AWESOME!”
