Winston “Prime Time” Bodrick, one of the Raiders’ starting running backs, has been lighting up the field, gaining over 600 all-purpose yards and scoring four touchdowns to start off his season.

Bodrick, a senior, is an all-around player, capable of playing every offensive skilled position, according to Coach Tony Troutman, the Raiders running backs coach.

Bodrick stands out from others because of his versatility. Coaches said dedication, intelligence and his work ethic on and off the field sets him apart from others.

Bodrick, one of the team’s captains, also plays baseball, following in the footsteps of his older brother.

As graduation approaches, Bodrick is keeping his options open for prospective schools he’d like to attend after high school with hopes of a professional playing career.

In the classroom, Bodrick has kept enough focus to maintain a 3.1 GPA.

A minister’s son, Bodrick’s father expects hard work and a positive attitude from his son, Bodrick said.

Outside of playing football Bodrick spends time hanging out with friends, coaching youth baseball at Sandtown Park, shopping, and spending time with his girlfriend.

Bodrick is also part of the summer baseball organization which participates in community-orietnted activities.
