Lynn Spies, the Audubon dance team coach, will be bringing her team to State for another year. State Dance Team will be held in Des Moines, Iowa, at the Wells Fargo Arena and Hy-Vee Hall. This event will be held on Dec. 1, 2011.
When Emily Anderson and Olivia Klocke were asked what songs their team has danced to this year they answered, “'Yeah 3x', 'Love Shack', and the boys [team] are dancing to a mix song."
The Audubon dance team has only done one performance so far this year, and it was at a home football game. Although they have only done one performance, it doesn’t mean that they are not working hard. The dance team has practice every Wednesday and Sunday for an hour. The team has 31 dancers, both girls and boys.
Help out the Audubon dance team by supporting them while they compete at State Dance on Dec. 1.
