Snow! Finally after weeks of anticipation we now have white streets and covered windshields. But this change of seasons has been graciously accepted after all of the strangely warm weather through the beginning of December.

“With all of the recent snow, I’m definitely hoping it will carry over and we’ll have a white Christmas!” exclaimed Jessie Dunbar, when asked how she feels about the strike of cold weather. Many feel the same way— that it just wouldn’t be Christmas without some snow on the ground.

Kyle Nighswonger hopes to go snowmobiling over winter break, and he’s not alone in making plans to play in the snow. Our hopes to jump in all of these snow-filled outdoor activities seem to have piled up just like the mounds of recently fallen snow.

“I am going to cozy up to a nice warm fire with a nice cup of eggnog and let it snow!!” said Adam Helzer, with a little different approach to enjoying the winter weather. But whether you choose to dive into a snowball fight or indulge in a cup of hot cocoa be sure to enjoy this winter wonderland while it lasts!
