For the first time this year, the Dunbar Orchestra hosted its first ever Senior Banquet. The event, which took place Friday, May 22nd, consisted of performances by the Orchestra’s seniors, some of them with guest accompaniment. The songs that they preformed varied from classical compositions, to variations of modern pop songs, to pieces from musicals, as the senior players could choose whatever songs they wanted to perform.

The program consisted of the following performances:

All Blues, by Mile Davis, preformed by Jordan Wright, Kyle Rosenberg, and Vinay Schroff

Lude’s Lament, by Bonnie Rideout, preformed by Melissa Hurd

Joselin’s Waltz, by Roger Tallroth, preformed by Julia Johnson

Partita No. 2, by Johann Sebastian Bach, preformed by Anna Henning

Minuet and Trio, by Johann Sebastian Bach, preformed by Alex Wood and Ellidia Guan

New York, New York! By John Kander arr. Story, preformed by Rachel Cunningham, Anna Henning

Ave Maria, by Johann Sebastian Bach, preformed by Denise Hall and Anna Henning

You’re the One that I Want, by John Farrar arr. Story, preformed by Kristen Williams, Hannah McClure, Tessa Cavagnero, and Jordan Wright

So What, by Pink, preformed by Tessa Cavagnero and Kyohei Arai

American Quartet, Movement One, by Dvorak, preformed by Ben Norsarzewski, Kierstin Quick, Ben Nichols, and Serena Sahajian

Congratulations to all of the seniors and Ms. Goff!
