Think schools too boring? Want to get out early? Well you could always graduate early. All you have to do is talk to one of your counselors and ask for a form. Then your counselor will make sure you have at least twenty-six credits but it's best to graduate early when your in your sophmore and junior year. It's hardest for freshman to graduate earlier than sophmore and juniors because you need more of your core classes. In fact you need to have four years of your core classes, that's english, math,
social studies, and science. Now you can only have this opportunity IF you are passing all your classes and haven't failed any. Don't sweat if you have accidentally failed a class Temple High offers credit recovery,
summer school, online classes, and you could always go to Texas Tech. they offer alot of high school like classes. but that all costs money.
"It's much harder now to graduate early" said Mrs. Copeland. If you so happen to graduate early you have to be "recommended" and will graduate that way too, recommended that is.
One of Temple High's Counselors, Mrs. Copeland thinks "the earlier the better" but also thinks that the "four years of high school" are need for both " emotional and social building". But it's completely up to you, the student, to decide if you want to graduate early or not.
