You’re in for a surprise going to see Zombieland: It is much gorier then you think. Based on trailers and commercials you you may be expecting just a funny, goofy film, you but that's not expects what happens. On the other hand if you’re a fan of the zombie movie genre, you’re in for a great time. Zombieland is about a couple of people trying to get by after the zombie apocalypse. I thought Zombieland was a lot of fun with many laugh-out-loud moments and lots of gore to satisfy fans of the genre. It was worth the price of admission and by far the funniest movie I have seen in a while. If your not familiar with the zombie genre, this movie will be great for you. It also shows the characters is trying to understand it them self’s. Zombieland was a lot of fun, but even though it only had about a 90 minute runtime, by the end it seemed to me like they were stretching it out a bit - I think most of that was in the final scene in the amusement park… could have been trimmed somewhat. Yes, I know this is an R-rated film and I have no issue with foul language if it fits. Zombieland offers more than just the hilarious creative of zombie-killing mayhem. It’s more about the journeys that bring people together than it is about the terrors of survival in a virus-ridden country. The story stays fun while showing that even in desperate times we can still be sane. Zombieland is a pitch-perfect example of how tasty the “horror/comedy” combo can be. But that doesn't mean the movie skips on the hard-core zombie-bashing either. This movie will set the bar for zombie classics for years to come.
