The Bloomington Ladycat volleyball team found themselves in a must-win match last Tuesday against Refugio. Win, and Bloomington was in the playoffs. A loss would force them into another must-win match versus undefeated Skidmore-Tynan three days later.

The Ladycats dropped the Refugio match in five games; 28-30, 22-25, 27-25, 25-17, and 12-15.

Skidmore-Tynan defeated Bloomington the next Friday, bringing the Ladycat’s 2009 season to an end with a 4-6 record against District 30-2A competition.
