As Rednecks we would like to express how we feel about the false statement made in your paper on May 5, 2004. First let us start by defining Redneck, redneck- sunburned neck acquired in the fields by farm laborers. Second let us remind you of your statement, “dem dar rednecks ant never seen a cow in der lifes.” Just to let you know a big percent of the people in this school are rednecks. We are the people that keep this town going, without rednecks you wouldn’t have tobacco, corn, milk (which comes from cows), and many other things. Half of the people that walk around this school are poser’s just wannabes but not us were the real things. If you took all the rednecks away there would no Carrollton. They’re fore no school newspaper to judge others in. We never say anything to ever offend any one but times are changing and heres are lists of things we don’t like!
