Bruins Victorious Over the Senators

On April 2, 2009, Milan Lucic and Marc Savard scored for the Bruins to pull out a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. Goal keeper Tim Thomas saved 31 of Ottawa’s 32 shots, while the Bruins outshot Ottawa with 33 shots.  The Stanley Cup Playoffs began on April 14, and on April 16 Boston played the Montreal Canadiens at home.
