Have you ever pondered about what you can do with your own hobbies and skills? Well, the founders of the Knit-for-Kids Club sure did, and they transformed their ideas into action.

The Knit-for-Kids Club is a newly found club in Tottenville High School. Its members knit, crochet, and sew baby blankets, and donate them to the Binky Patrol NYC Chapter. Many of the members are only beginners in making blankets, however, they are eager and ready to learn. “I’m really glad I joined this club because I can learn new skills, while knowing that I’m helping others in our community," said Grace Ha, secretary of the club. Many of the members are also looking forward to creating their own accessories as they master the art of knitting and crocheting. Lauren Toscano, a member of the club said, “Now that I know how to knit and crochet, I plan to make my own scarves!” Presidents Kelly Lee and Bora Jung would also like to thank Ms. Nolemi and Ms.Tierno for their help in starting the club and Mrs. Levine and Mrs. Cindy for donations to the club.
