Washington High School Students can’t seem to stay inside of class and learn something; it is as if the hallway is their class.

“Washington students are failing all because they get caught up in the hallway skipping class all hour,” said Junior, Brokenma White.

The students don’t want to do their work or either have problems with some students inside  the classroom so they skip their class,” said Marshal.

“The skipping has increased within these two years,” said White. "However, school security has decreased over the years." said Officer Marshal.

There are more kids inside the school now so there might be just a little more skipping going on.

“Males are the most common gender that likes to skip at Washington,” said White.   

Last year there was mostly females getting caught skipping with the males but mostly females.

“10th grade was the worst year for skipping because all security would be on duty on every hall chasing students,” said White.

"The gym is the most valuable place to be so you can blend in with the other students inside the gym,” said Marshal.

“Hopefully skipping will decrease this year so everyone can succeed in school,” said White.
