Rufus King’s bathrooms are a disgrace, but they are cleaned daily by our engineering staff, so they should not always repulse the people who use them!

Students don’t take care of their cafeteria or their hallways; why should they treat their bathrooms any differently? This is purely a respect issue.

So why do students go out of their way to make others’ lives more difficult? Why would someone intentionally dirty up a bathroom? With Swine Flu in Milwaukee, we should take cleanliness seriously.

The King’s Page has reported on the mess in the cafeteria and in the halls, but this situation is just as dire. Many repulsive things happen in the bathroom that can be avoided.

Please take care of our bathrooms. Germs manifest in bathroom and continual misuse may cause illness. If some epidemic swept through Wisconsin like the H1N1 virus, and the school had to close, it would wreak havoc on the lives of IB seniors.

Being respectful and cleanly could easily solve this. Take care of your house whether your years are ending or have just started. This is your school. Show respect in your bathrooms!
