This year our school decided to take finals before we went on winter break. Jake Clapp said, “ I liked it, If I would have taken them after break I would have forgotten everything.”
Many other students feel the same way. I agree with them fully, I know for a fact if I would have taken them, this week instead of three weeks ago no matter how long I studied I wouldn't have done as well as if we had taken them before break.
The only bad thing I think is that now we have two extra weeks of things too do and most kids will most likely blow this off. Brittany Shaffer said, “ Having finals before break was something new everyone had to get used to, but in the end I think it will only help the students”
These two extra weeks could be good or bad for you I think. If you do badly on the final you can use these two weeks to help your grade and it wont make or break you. And if you do well on the final it can only help you in the end if you do everything you need to do. I believe that final grades will keep rising if we do this. All in all I think that it was a good idea to have.
