One small movement and a foreboding song that reaches its depth of suspense you receive huge amounts of screaming. “The Uninvited” is a suspense thriller about a girl who wants to figure out the mystery of her mother’s death, and suspects her death was no accident but a murder. The film was produced by Walter F. Parkes, who also produced movies; The Kite runner and Sweeney Todd, with DreamWorks productions.
This Thriller hit theatres Friday January 30th. From the start you’re on the edge of your seats waiting for the unexpected. You either find yourself glimpsing behind a jacket or hearing your neighbor lurch out a high pitched squeal. It was a movie that jumped out at you in the weirdest circumstances. Featuring; Emily Browning as the main character and who last filmed in the Series of Unfortunate, also Arielle Kebbel, playing the sister of the main character and Elizabeth Banks playing the suspected murderer. For those of you who love the feel of an adrenaline rush, you may want to consider this film. Overall, it may bring a rush for a second, but I still question if it was worth the money to see. After seeing the film, I felt that the movie seemed to fast forward from a great beginning to a jumbled ending. With that, I rate this film two stars. For great acting, yet in some parts way too hard to follow.
