I can’t believe you are closed on the weekends. A $2.8 million purchase down the drain. You used to be youth inspired. Who is inspiring you now? After all the campaigning and all the donations, you are closed during our free time. Last time I checked the weekends are my free time.
All I can say for the Teen Center now is—Good luck recruiting new members.
You really had me hooked. I remember my first experience with you. The whole program was great. The video games, cyber café, recreational room—it was almost overwhelming. I would have joined right then if I had the money. However, when I came to pay on the next Saturday, you were closed.
You have an amazing facility but only opening on Saturdays for special occasions, takes away the whole point behind the Teen Center. From everything I have been told you are supposed to be there for us in our free time. You aren’t a daycare; you’re “a hub for teens.”
Now that you are closed on the weekends, I don’t know what to do. I have been hearing about this great place called Club Paradise. It’s open on the weekends and its filled with plenty of exciting things to do. I’m sure I’ll stay out of trouble there. Also, one of my good buddies found this new substance that is supposed to make me feel amazing. Since I have nothing better to do, I guess I’ll go hang out with him next Saturday.
My friend is also having this great party at his house. Everyone who used to go to your great parties decided that this party is better, since it’s on Saturday. I’ve decided that my new best friends are Mr. Jack Daniels and Mr. Sam Adams (depending on the season). On my way home I’ll be sure to drive extra careful. I might even stop by a 7-11 and “borrow” some of their food because you know I will have the munchies.
You know what? I guess I have changed my mind. I think I will be okay with you being closed on the weekends. I will obviously have a lot more fun with new ways to spend my free time. So thank you for being closed on weekends and showing me a better life. I am very excited to try out my new life style.
